5 Sunscreens Under ₹700, Compared

Sunscreen is the one product on this list where “which one” usually matters less than “did you actually put enough of it on and reapply it” — see our piece on SPF and PA ratings for why. That said, texture and finish are real reasons people stop using a sunscreen, so here’s five under ₹700 as sold on Nykaa, with what’s actually different between them.

The five

  • Dot & Key Vitamin C + E Super Bright Sunscreen SPF 50+ PA++++ — ₹387 (MRP ₹445). One of the most-reviewed sunscreens on the site (170,000+ ratings), pairs SPF with a brightening antioxidant combination rather than being sunscreen alone.
  • Minimalist SPF 50 PA++++ Sunscreen With Multi-Vitamin — ₹379 (MRP ₹399). Smallest discount of the five, which usually means it’s already priced close to what the brand considers fair rather than inflated-then-discounted.
  • The Derma Co 1% Hyaluronic Sunscreen SPF 50 PA+++ Aqua Gel — ₹615 (MRP ₹699). The priciest here and the only one built around hyaluronic acid specifically — worth considering if your skin runs dry under sunscreen.
  • Dr. Sheth’s Ceramide & Vitamin C Sunscreen SPF 50+ PA++++ — ₹449 (MRP ₹499). Ceramides target barrier support rather than brightening or hydration alone — a different job than the other four.
  • Neutrogena Ultrasheer SPF50+ PA++++ Ultra Light Moisturizing — ₹649 (MRP ₹780). The most-reviewed sunscreen on Nykaa by a wide margin (328,000+ ratings) and the only established international brand on this list — a reasonable default if you’d rather not experiment.

All five clear SPF 50 and at least PA+++, which per our SPF/PA piece is the range where the number stops being the differentiator. What should actually decide it for you: whether you want a plain sunscreen (Minimalist, Neutrogena) or one doing a second job at the same time — brightening (Dot & Key), hydration (The Derma Co), or barrier support (Dr. Sheth’s).
